John C. Sweetman Sr., 66, of Cumberland, passed away March 21, 2022 in Providence, RI. He was the husband of Lisa (Lapre) Sweetman. They were together for 25 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alfred and Fern (Drowne) Sweetman.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Phillip Sweetman and John Sweetman Jr., two stepsons, Ray and Andy Connors; six siblings, Alfred and James Sweetman, Diane Sousa, Peggy Ambault, Debra Sweetman, Donna Crothers; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica Sweetman; and two siblings, Patricia Fisher and Robert Sweetman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, March 24th from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial is private.
